REPORT Scenic Theatre Pawtucket R. I. 3 days Monday, Tues, and Wednesday May 6th--7th--8th 1912 BAKER McSHANE and BAKER 3 men, 2 black face one white, minstrel first part, singing good, dancing good and line of talk O. K. 15 minutes in one, went very good WOODFORDS ANIMAL ACTORS Trainer and woman assistant, Monkey, Dog and Pony all clever, Monkeys bycycle riding at finish very funny, 12 minutes full stage, Went big. BATES & LEIGHTON Two girls, singing and Piano playing nicely dressed, 10 minutes in two, just went fair. GRACIE EMMETT & CO. 4 people, 2 men, 2 women, comedy Mrs Murphys Second Husband. Comedy very good and plenty of good laughs all the way through but finished with little applause. 23 minutes, Interior. David R, Buffinton SPIEGEL and DUNN 2 men, black face, singing, talking and dancing, one makes change to colored lady, singing talking and dancing fair, 12 minutes in one, just went fair. BURROWS, TRAVIS & CO. 2 men and a woman, comedy sketch The New Boy, singing, talking and dancing, the New Boy's dancing the only redeemable feature in the act, 18 minutes, interior full stage, just went fair. BILLY McDERMOTT Tramp Comedian, line of talk good, parodies very good, fine singer. 17 minutes in one, Big hit. GRACIE EMMETT & CO. All week, dont seem to get them, just going fair.
