REPORT Scenic Theatre Pawtucket R. I. 3 days Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday May 27--28--29 David R. Buffinton BURBANK and DANFORTH Man and woman, musical act, nicely dressed, 3 changes, brass and string instruments, popular and classical selections. 14 minutes full stage went very good VAN and CARRIE AVERY Man and woman, comedy sketch "The New Porter. Man black face open in one, singing and talking, lot of good stuff, close in one with comedy song illustrated, 12 minutes went very good. SWAN and BOMBARD Two men, eccentric, knockabout comedy singing and dancing, comedy is good. went good but not as strong as I thought they would 15 minutes exterior, close in one. MOTHER GOOSE IN VAUDEVILLE 2 men and 6 women, minature musical comedy, The Old Woman Who Lived In A Shoe, comedy only fair and musical numbers outside of one very ordinary, one special set peice scenery, closed with some "shadowgraphs" dont think much of the act personally but it got a good hand at finish. 25 minutes, full stage. MURPHY and FOLEY Two men, singing and dancing, black face dressed very nicely, good singers and dancers, 10 minutes full stage, went very good MOTT and MAXFIELD Man and woman, comedy sketch "The Traveling Salesman and The Manicure Girl. Singing, dancing and talking. Womans eccentric work is very clever, plenty of laughs through the act but fell flat at the finish. 15 minutes in one DOAN, LINDSAY and DOAN Two men and a woman, its a talking act by the two men, the woman just walking across the stage three times and speaking two lines, talking is good and got a lot of laughs, applause at finish very light. 17 minutes in one. MOTHER GOOSE IN VAUDEVILLE All week, minature musical comedy 2 men and 6 women, Going very good.
