B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE. BOSTON SHOW - WEEK JULY 1 - 1912. (R. G. Larsen.) (Monday night show.) RAMSDELL TRIO. 11 minutes f.s. Garden. A rather pretty act, two girls and a boy, doing toe dancing and just one song. Very nicely dressed and pleasing. ART BOWEN. 12 minutes in one. Olio drop. Cartoonist and singer. Bowen has an entirely new line of material fully as good as anything he has had before, and made thoroughly good. GORDON ELDRID and CO. 19 minutes f.s. C. D. F. open special drop in one. As big a laughing hit as ever. BARNES and ROBINSON. 17 minutes in one. Drop. Man at piano and woman singing and talking. Interesting every minute. MOSHER, HAYES and MOSHER. 16 minutes f.s. Garden. A good bicycle act with lots of comedy, that was particularly strong in this part of the bill. DONOVAN and McDONALD. 28 minutes special drop in two. This act is the best evidence in the world that properly put on the stage Irishman has not gone by. They kept the audience laughing every minutes they were on the stage, and closed with their old hat gag that was not entirely necessary, but went very strong. D'ARMAND and CARTER. 21 minutes in two. Close in one. Olio. This act went very big in the afternoon, but had a hard spot tonight following nearly a half hour of talk and laughter, but they got away with it in good shape. "THE MEISTERSINGERS." 40 minutes f.s. Special set. The fact that this combination held a crowded house forty minutes with a show eleven minutes late when they went on tells the story pretty well. This is the first of a season of four weeks. They are presented in a new production showing a camp in the Maine woods on the shore of a lake, and gives them much more freedom than they had last year. There has certainly never been a combination of male voices to compare with this in vaudeville, and with this production it seems to me that even at the price they ask they ought to make good anywhere. They certainly were a hit at both performances to-day.
