B. F. KEITH'S HIPPODROME Week of August 26, 1912 Cleveland, Ohio MAXINE & BOBBY - - 17 minutes. Palace, three. Two men and a dog, doing clever acrobatic work. A good opening act. Well received. (Pittsburg) HARRY BREEN - - 11 minutes. "A Jovial Singer of Jovial Songs". This young man is a clever comedian, and succeeded in getting a lot of laughs. He however, depends partially upon a song to the audience, which is in cases embarrassing, for his fun. He was instructed to stop referring to people in the boxes, who took exceptions to this method of securing mirth at Monday's matinee. (Louisville) ED REYNARD- - Ventriloquist. 14 minutes. F. S. Special set. This act is just as good as ever and went over big. (Indianapolis) MACART & BRADFORD- - "A Legitimate Hold-Up" 21 minutes. C.D.F. Two men and one woman in sketch, which is very funny in spots. Well dressed and cleverly done. The act was well received. (Columbus) VANDERBILT & MOORE - - 16 minutes in one. With Gertie Vanderbilt as a much advertised star, the act was disappointing, and the audience accepted it with salt. George Moore can't sing and is only a fair actor. The costumes worn attracted considerable attention, and were much talked about. (Indianapolis) MABEL TALIAFERRO & CO - - 17 minutes. F. S. With special effects. A very pretty playlet, which lacks strength. The men, two of them, in the sketch, are very mediocre actors. The scenic effects are novel, and the rising curtain got considerable applause. (Indianapolis) BISON CITY FOUR- - Male quartette. 18 minutes in one. Same comedy, same people, same big hit. (Cincinnati) FIVE MARTELLES- - Bicyclists. 12 minutes. F. S. A clever closing act. Well dressed, and will fit on any bill
