REPORT Scenic Theatre Pawtucket R. I. 3 days Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday August 26--27--28 David R. Buffinton JUGGLING NELSON Comedy juggler, eccentric, lot of good stuff, very funny, 12 minutes full stage. Went big. LLYOD and ZARINA Man and woman, singing and dancing, several changes, dressed well, very good dancers, open in one, close full stage, 12 min went very good. WHAT HAPPENED IN ROOM 44 Sketch, 2 men and a woman, good plot plenty of laughs and some good acting, success of this sketch all depends on the woman and she (Ruth Raynor) is equal to the occasion. 12 minutes, best sketch ever played here, Went big. GRETCHEN SPENCER failed to show up and CLARK and PARKER took her place at the evening performance. Man and woman, singing, talking and dancing, very ordinary, 10 minutes in one, just got fair hand. David R. Buffinton THE RECKLESS RECKLAWS 2 men and a woman, comedy bicycle, roller skating novelty riding, good comedy, special drop, full stage, 12 minutes, Went Big. MORGAN and CHESTER CO. 2 men and a woman, comedy sketch in 2, special drop. Sort of a Pecks Bad boy with a little melodrama thrown in, 20 minutes, pleased immensely, Went big. LEONA MAY Musical Artist, nicely dressed, brass and string instruments, sings song with illustrations and finishes with different style bugle calls, slides illustrating same, 10 minutes in one, Went Big. WHAT HAPPENED IN ROOM 44 Sketch, all week, going big.
