B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE CINCINNATI, O. Week of September 1, 1912. HURSLEY TROUPE: Billed as European eccentric acrobats. Nothing eccentric about them;- everything straight. No comedy. Two men, one woman, a boy and a girl. 5 min. F. S. A conventional act - nothing new or noteworthy. Went fair. CHICAGO. ART BROWN: Singing cartoonist. 11 min. in one. Sings three good songs, and illustrates them with cartoons. Has a good baritone voice, and act is a pleasing one. Went good. INDIANAPOLIS. CHADWICK TRIO: Comedy sketch. 15 min. F. S., close 2 min. in one. Not very much to the act, except the clever dancing of Ida May Chadwick, which scored a hit. CLEVELAND, O. THE LANGDONS: Comedy sketch, entitled "A Night on the Boulevard", in which two trick automobiles are used. Own set, very pretty and effective drop representing a lighted boulevard, which got applause. Some clever comedy features in this sketch. Went fair. INDIANAPOLIS. LYONS & YOSCO: "The harpist and singer". 18 min. in one. Tremendous hit. COLUMBUS, O. HOMER B. MASON, MARGUERITE KEELER & CO.: In comedy sketch entitled "In and Out". 26 min. f. s., own set. A big laugh throughout, and decidedly the comedy hit of the show. LOUISVILLE, KY. BISON CITY FOUR: Quartette and comedy. 15 min. in one, own drop. Same comedy stunts as on their last visit here. Singing good, and a big hit, as all singing quartettes are in this house. INDIANAPOLIS. "DANCE DREAM": 14 min. f. s., own set. One man and six girls. A clever, classy offering, the idea being a young fellow's dream of girls and dances of various periods, they appearing one by one in appropriate costume and dancing with the young man, with musical selections and dances to fit the period represented. Held closest attention, and very heartily applauded. INDIANAPOLIS. B. F. KEITHOSCOPE: Pathe's weekly. 15 minutes. REMARKS: This is the opening bill of the season, and, as a whole, an enjoyable show, with the kind of comedy our people like. Weather intensely hot. C. L. Doran.
