B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE - BOSTON - SEPTEMBER 9 - 1912. (R. G. Larsen.) JULIE GONZALES. 5 minutes f.s. Palace. Aerialist. A rather pretty little woman doing a neat little act on the rings and flying trapeze. Made a very acceptable opener. CORIN-ALYN and TYLER. 12 minutes in one. Olio. Woman and two men, with songs and piano. A lively singing act with just a touch of comedy, that got over in this spot in good shape. TOM KYLE and CO. in "A Doctored Widow." 16 minutes in two. This is a comedy sketch with three people, man, woman, and a colored man who plays a steward. Scene is laid on board a steamship, shown painted on a drop in one with cut-away to reveal cabin within. Got quite a number of laughs to-night, and closed well. EDDIE ROSS. 18 minutes in one. Street. Ross duplicated the big hit he scored in this house last season. Had 'em laughing all the time, and finished very big. GILLETT'S DOGS AND MONKEYS. 20 minutes f.s. Garden. Featuring a couple of monks called "Adam" and "Eve," and a monkey bowling alley. One of the funniest and best animal acts we have ever played. The audiences fairly screamed at the antics of the monks at both shows to-day, the one called "Adam" being a great comedian. A riot of laughter from start to finish. GOLDSMITH and HOPPE. 17 minutes in one. Olio. Practically the same act that they gave us on their last visit, but went over big at both shows to-day. LUCY DALY and COMPANY. 27 minutes f.s. Special drops. Miss Daly is a great favorite in Boston, as was shown from her reception here to-day at both performances. All her numbers went over big, and she closed very strong, with many flowers. SIX AMERICAN DANCERS. 13 minutes in one. Plush drapery. About the same act as they gave us on their last visit, but held this difficult spot in splendid shape. Closed very big. LAVEEN-CROSS COMPANY IN "ROMAN SPORTS AND PASTIMES." 17 minutes f.s. About the same act as they gave us last year, with some new comedy. Made an excellent closing feature for a great show.
