B.F. KEITH'S HIPPODROME Week of Nov. 10, 1913 Cleveland, Ohio Introduction - A blizzard hit here Sunday and we opened the show on Monday with four acts and some local fillers. Neptune's Garden got here Tuesday noon. We will not have a regular audience to play to until Thursday afternoon. Telephone and telegraphic communication will be tied up for a week. The storm is about forty five miles wide and is centered over Cleveland. There is little snow east or west of here. GORMLEY & CAFFERY -- Two men. 15 minutes. Garden in 4. Grotesque acrobatic act, which went over strong and closed to big hand. Both are comedians and work up big laugh throughout. (Open) LYONA STEPHENS -- Palace in 1. 15 minutes. A good act, with novel motion picture representation of a glimpse behind the scenes showing Miss Stephens making up. Sings some good and catchy songs and closes to pleasing applause. (Buffalo) EDWIN STEVENS AND TINA MARSHALL -- C.D.F. 4, 15 minutes. A musical burlette, rather tame, but high class. The sketch is a take off on Romeo and Juliet, well acted, but in itself is poor material and not amusing. (Louisville) McKAY & ARDINE -- Street in 1. 15 minutes. Man and woman. Good singers, good dancers and generally a strong act of its kind. The comedy work and dancing of McKay is fine. Theymclose to big applause. (Cincinnati) PRINCE LAI MON KIM -- Palace in 1. 10 minutes. A Chinese baritone singer with an excellent voice and personality. Dresses in oriental costume and sings selections that are highly pleasing and closes to a big hand. (Birmingham) NEPTUNE'S GARDEN -- Carry special tank and garden scene effects, which are exceptionally fine. Details are wellmcared for, and the tank is set in 4 with special drop and wings. 30 minutes. Two men, seven women. Mostly pantomimic, but with all a well staged act, consisting of diving, acrobatic, song and dance features, by the company. Was the hit of the bill and went over with a hurrah. Closed exceptionally strong. (Pittsburg) SAM & KITTY MORTON -- Street in 1. 15 minutes. Ac act, which gets the house from the start. These two old time entertainers carry everything before them and consequently hold the house and go through with a big hand. (New Haven) GILLETTE'S MONKEYS -- Garden in 4. 15 minutes. One of the funniest monkeyacts ever seen. A scream from start to finish. (Toledo) PATHE'S WEEKLY
