13 COLUMBUS SHOW,WEEK NOVEMBER 24,1918--W.W.PROSSER. THE CHAMBERLAINS: Man and women lasso and whip experts.Quite a good set of its kind which made a very favorite impression, holding interests fairly well, with no finish to speak of. [[landscape?]] in 9 minutes. (Open) CARSON & BROWN: Two young men in straight and eccentric dance.Good enough of its kind but nothing unusual.Just about fitted the spot they held.Finished moderately strong. Street in 1, 10 min. (Indianapolis) LeROY & HARVEY: Man and woman in wetsrn comedy playlet"Rained In".This is a different idea from anything shown here, and the act did very well.In fact, for laughing purposes,it proved A.1. Finished quite strong.Special in 3, 15 minutes. (Open) CHIEF CAUPOLICAN: Indian singer and orator. This man presents a genuine novelty, introducing songs and talk in prose and verse. He has an excellent voice and talks unusually well.Emphatic rounds of applause after each song and punctuating his talk. The impression he made was decidedly favorable. He finished very strong, taking several bows.Olio in 1, 17 minutes. (Cincinnati) HELEN PAGE & CO: One woman, three men in a one-act comedy"The Understudy".This story concerns a small-town girl who desires to break into the show business.A splendid opportunity for creating laughter which was taken advantage of.The work of Miss Page and her leading man was very well received. The minor characters were satisfactory. All in all a thoroughly O.K. number.Strong finish.Special and fancy in3, 25 min. (Norfolk) KIMBERLY & MOHR: Two men in a style of act distinctly different from the usual run.Songs, talk and piano work. Both men possess unusually good personality and they put their stuff over in a very capable manner.Applause after each number and a strong finish.Special in 1,18 minutes. (Providence) NEPTUNE'S GARDEN: Wellknown Aquatic Mythological Pantomine, with music. This is a very elaborate affair employing twenty or more people all told. There is style, beauty, novelty, and, in fact every element that could be looked for in an act of this nature. It is the first closer we have had in a longtime that held them to the finish. Its reception was very favorable and several curtains were taken.Special in 5, 16 min. (Toledo) MOVING PICTURE: O.K.
