WASHINGTON SHOW R. S. Robbins November 17, 1913 THE PARSHLEY'S: 20 min. in One. Man and woman. Musical novelty, classical and popular musical on glasses and Xylophone. Good act bud did'nt get much applause. KELLY & POLLOCK: 20 min. in one. Man and woman. Fair singing act. Comedy and dancing. Old stuff. Fair amount of applause and laughter. RAYNOS BULL TERRIERS: 9 min. F.S. Funny and exciting act. The audience screamed throughout and showed their appreciation with generous applause. JACK GARDNER: 17 min. in one: Songs stories and recitation. A fair entertainer only. Went fairly well. BERTON CHURCHILL & COMPANY: 18 min. F.S. Very good actor in labored combination of melo and classic drama, "There were Actors Then". Goes fairly well. INTERMISSION: FLORENCE TEMPEST: 11 Min. F.S. Dainty, high class comedienne. Original songs, fairly tuneful. Beautiful dance at finish which brings down the house. BARRY & WOLFORD: 16 Min. in one: Man and woman. Old style duetists, not very classy. Original songs and parodies. Went fairly well. WILLIAM H. MURPHY & BLANCHE NICHOLS & CO. 29 min. F.S. Military burlesque of stage life cleverly drawn and executed. This old act was generally appreciated getting all its laughs and plenty of applause. Pathe Weekly The Pictures pleased. CUT: Florence Tempest - song "I'd make some hubby for you".
