REPORT ON KEITH'S BOSTON SHOW. WEEK OF DEC. 8th, '13. (R. G. Larsen.) TWO TOMBOYS. 7 minutes f. s. Garden. Aside from the novelty attached to the sight of the two girls performing a "bump" act, they do not compare with the most of the two-men acts of a similar character that we have played. An excellent opener, but - considerably overpaid. GERARD and WEST. 10 minutes in one. Olio Drop. A nice appearing fellow and girl in a first-rate singing and dancing act. The singing is only fair, but the soft shoe dancing and highkicking is exceptionally good. A lively number that filled this spot in very good shape. MUNROE & PUSEY. 13 minutes in one. Street. This is Ned Munroe, formerly of Munroe & Mack, and Charles A. Pusey, late of Lasky's "Antique Girl," in a blackface singing and talking act, Open and close with a song, the remainder of the act being devoted to cross-fire talk. In makeup and manner of working, the pair are reminiscent of Conroy & LeMaire. Have a very good line of new and original material which got a great many laughs. Went very well at both performances. [???] PORCELAIN. 11 minutes f. s. Special black cyclorama. An exquisitely beautiful series of reproductions of living Dresden Chinaware. Some of the groupings are exceptionally striking. All the poses were applauded, and the last number, "The Clock," received a big hand. BARRY & WOLFORD. 15 minutes in one. Garden. It is several years since we have played this team. They have all new material in the way talk and parodies all of which went over first-rate. Closed strong with the Old-Timers' song. PAUL ARMSTRONG'S "WOMAN PROPOSES" WITH RUTH ALLEN & CO. 26 minutes f. s. Special Conservatory Drop. this is a sort of expose on the ancient superstition than man proposes marriage, excellently played by a company of eight people, four men and four girls. The dialogue is exceptionally bright and witty, and the piece is a succession of laughs from start to finish. Closed to a big hand. A very novel comedy that will cause talk about town, and should draw us business. TROVATO. 22 minutes in one. O. P. Drapery. Doing about the same routine as he has always given us, with the exception of some new popular selections. Same big as on previous visits, AVON COMEDY FOUR. 21 minutes f. s. Open Kitchen. Close Street in one. Have all new songs and quite a lot of new comedy business. Same old laughing riot as on previous visits. FIVE HARVEYS. 9 minutes f. s. Palace. Three very attractive girls and two men in one of the [prettiest?] and best wire acts we play. Made a great closing feature.
