REPORT ON COLUMBUS SHOW WEEK DEC. 29..W.W. PROSSER. GORDON'S COMEDY DOGS: Entertaining animal offering which made thoroughly good as an opener. Scattered applause and a strong finish. Terrace in 3, 13 minutes. (Open) BISSETT & SCOTT: Two men in conventional dancing number. Very neat in appearance, and good dancers. Got along well throughout and finished strong. Olio in 1, 10 minutes. (Open) THE THREE KEATONS: Same old trio, same old act but just as funny as ever. Kept them laughing all the way through and finished strong. Landscape in 4, close in 1, 18 minutes. (Syracuse) C.H. O'DONNEL & CO: Two men, two women in "Flashlight Cragin", a story of East Side life which gave very good satisfaction. This act is different from the usual run of sketches, and did very well, holding attention all the way through and finishing strong. Kitchen in 3, 19 minutes. (Wilmington, Del) Winona Winter: In songs, talk and ventriloquil work. Very pretty young woman of exceptional ability, fine personality, artistic in method and thoroughly worth while. Did not go so well with the Monday matinee audience, but will undoubtably prove a winner for the remainder of the week. Some applause after each number, and a fairly strong finish. Olio in 1, 14 minutes. (Baltimore) EDMOND HAYES & CO: In "The Piano Moves", the same comedy offering he has given heretofore. Great laugh-provoking number, and thoroughly enjoyable throughout. Had them with him all the way through and finished strong. C.D.F. in 3, 18 minutes. (Cincinnati) MERRILL & OTTO: Man and woman in "Her Daddy's Friend". Talk and song skit which seemed to catch on first rate. Some of the talk could be replaced by a song or two which would undoubtably add to the value of the offering. Did very well, holding attention throughout, especially the finishing song and dance which rounded them out in fine shape and brought them to a good strong finish. Street in 1, 15 minutes. (Toledo) THE THREE BARTOS: Athletic and Physical Culture offering. Very good of its kind. Several unusual tricks presented and they were well received throughout. Finished strong. Palace in 4, 5 minutes. (Indianapolis) PATHE WEEKLY: O.K.
