B. F. KEITH'S HIPPODROME Week of January 12, 1914 Cleveland, Ohio MLLE TINA - - Garden in 4. 10 minutes. A graceful woman working on the trapeze. Good act. (Columbus) HARRY B. LESTER - - Palace in 1. 17 minutes. His imitations and songs were both well received. Liberal applause. (Detroit) WILLIAM A. WESTON & CO - - 4 men, 2 women. C.D.F. in 4. Close in 1. 22 minutes. Same musical act they presented here before. Was just as well received as on its previous visit and was rewarded with liberal applause. (Grand Rapids) McCONNELL & SIMPSON - - 2 men and 1 woman. C.D.F. in 4. 24 minutes. Sketch entitled "The Right Girl". Perhaps it is the best sketch this team has ever given us. Anyway it is full of action and creates the laughs. Proved to be quite a hit. (Cincinnati) MADAME OLGA PETROVA - - Palace in 1. 18 minutes. Probably Hastings will be pleased to know that this charming, petite, dainty, clever, Russian Dukess from Indianapolis, scored the hit of the bill, completely stopped the afternoon show, and was forced to respond with a speech in which she said she was not born in Cleveland but she would assure us that it would never happen again. Anyway she received the most applause we have heard in this theatre in a month. That's the answer. (Columbus) MISS ORFORD AND HER ELEPHANTS - - 17 minutes. Full stage. Read what all the other managers have said about this act, bunch it all together, add Robinson's personal opinion, then double it and you have my idea. Both audience Monday agreed with me. (Detroit) BEN DEELEY & CO - - Sketch "The New Bell Boy". Two men, one woman. Open in 1, close special in 3. 20 minutes. Deeley's cleverness carries the act. He is a good imitator of Bert Williams and has considerable clever material (Indianapolis) THE SIX CASTRILLIONS - - 5 men. 1 woman. 8 minutes. Do all the routine work with a few new stunts thrown in. Very acceptable. (Columbus) PATHE'S WEEKLY
