BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I. REPORT OF SHOW JANUARY 12-1914. MARCUS & GARTELLE. Comedy bump skaters. Two men. 10 minutes. Fair act. Comedy got very few laughs. Received hardly no applause. SAMPSELL & REILLY. Singing and dancing, 12 minutes in (1). One woman, one man. Fairly good act. Went only fair. Got practically no applause. Swell wardrobe. LA GRACIOSA. Posing, 14 minutes full stage. Carried thirteen drops. Most beautiful scenic act ever seen here. Posing work very good. Seemed to please but failed to get much applause. W. E. Parmenter Manager. Recalled again and again. Audience could'nt get enough, and the applause was greater than given to anything else on the bill. Almost an ovation at the close. DALE & BOYLE. Singing and dancing, 10 minutes in (1). Two men. Good act. Dancing very clever. The surprise at the finish caused roars of laughter and the audience was generous in its applause. 6 LITTLE SONG BIRDS. Juvenile singing, dancing and piano. 18 minutes in (2). Three girls and three boys. Very good act. Best juvenile act ever seen here. Good singing, good dancing and clever work at the piano. Made tremendous hit, and received long and hearty applause. W. E. Parmenter Manager.
