BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I. REPORT OF SHOW FEBRUARY 23, 1914. LONGENETTE. Protean artiste, 12 minutes C. D. F. Fair act. Makes the changes quite rapidly, but that seems to be about all there is to it. The Madame X was fairly good, and was about the only part that got the audience. Only slight applause. TYLER & CROLIUS. Singing and talking, 12 minutes in (1). Man and woman. Good comedy act. Most of the stuff was all new and provoked hearty laughter. Fairly good applause. HARRY TATE'S MOTORING. 18 minutes, full stage. Five men. Very good act. Caused uproarous laughter from start to finish. Went very big and got good applause at the finish. W. E. Parmenter Manager BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I. REPORT OF SHOW FEBRUARY 26, 1914. THE 2 CLIPPS. Comedy singing and talking. 12 minutes in (1). Man and woman (colored). Merely a fair act. Singing on the whole is far from good. Comedy is poor, and gets no laughs. The best hit is done by the lady in one of her song numbers. The act went rather poorly and gets nothing in the way of applause. DUGAN & RAYMOND. "On the Corner of the Street". 15 minutes in (1). Man and woman. Man good comedian and gets plenty of laughs. He has some good comedy decidedly new. Lady does practically nothing and it really looks like a single rather than a double. It certainly is not dependent upon the lady, as she is simply a foil for his real ability. The act gets plenty of laughs owing to the man's comedy, but gets only slight applause. SWAIN'S COCKATOOS. 12 minutes, full stage. Very good act. Birds are very clever and have many new tricks. Stage setting and accessories very pretty and pleasing to the eye. Act went well and got good applause. W. E. Parmenter Manager.
