200 WASHINGTON SHOW R. S. Robbins March 30, 1914 MCRAE & CLEGG 10 min. F.S. A really good bicycle act. Miss Clegg not only scores with her extraordinary riding, but wins with her appearance and charming manner. McRae is a genuine comedian and also does difficult riding. The act is a speedy one and scores a hit. JULIA CURTIS 9 min. in one. Imitations of Petrova, Held, Trentini, Lauder and Cohen, providing a good mimic, with splendid voice and personality. Miss Curtis is a very clever entertainer and scored heavily. BANKKOFF & GIRLEE 12 min. F.S. The best dancing here this season. Bankoff's work not only beautiful to watch, but sensational in its difficult execution. "Girlie" attractive & clever. Scored heavily. HINES & FOX 19 min. in one. Two young men in evening and character clothes, in original comedy songs, one working at piano. A sissy number kept the audience in an uproar, and their closing number "The Devils Rag" a la Forbes Robertson, got them a storm of applause. This act was the big hit of the show. ED HAYES & COMPANY 20 min. F.S. - This well known absurdity "The Piano Movers". A big laugh in this position. The act is well done. INTERMISSI)ON TELEPHONE TANGLE 16 min. Special Set. A novel comedy sketch showing six telephone booths, their occupants and an operator. The calls as mixed by a mischievous operator make humorous combinations, each good for a big laugh. Was a big laughing hit. MAGGIE CLINE 24 min. in one. Irish songs and comedy. Miss Cline radiant in a gorgeous green gown. Her affable personality and experience got her a good hand after each song, and especially so after her comedy dance with the property boy. SIX KIRKSMITH SISTERS 15 min. Special set. Beautiful girls becomingly gowned. Clever instrumentalists, one an exceptionally good singer, in a program of good music. A High class act which scored heavily.
