REPORT FROM B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE - BOSTON MASS. Week of April 20th - 1914. (Robert G. Larsen) TOM KIRBY and TWIN LAWRENCE SISTERS 10 minutes in one. Olio Drop. "The Dancing Bugs." A very neat little dancing act that went very well. THREE COLLEGIANS. 19 minutes f. s. C.D.F. Close in one. Olio Drop. A rattling good college act with singing, dancing, piano playing and club swinging. Gave the show a great start. BURLEY and BURLEY 12 minutes in one. Street. The Dude and The Scot. The second appearance in Boston of this act. Went over big. JACK KENNEDY and CO. "A Business Proposal." 20 minutes f. s. Office Interior. Kept the audience laughing heartily from start to finish. WALTER VAN BRUNDT 16 minutes in one. Olio Drop. One of the best, if not the very best, single man singer we have ever played. Scored very heavily. GERTRUDE HOFFMAN and HER NEW REVUE 62 minutes f. s. Twelve special sets. In her latest production for vaudeville, Miss Hoffmann has out-Hoffmanned Gertrude Hoffmann. The biggest hits of the act, from applause standpoint, were "The Beautiful Blue Danube," Miss Hoffmann specialty in the orchestra pit with the drums, and the tumbling by the troupe of Arabs in the Oriental scene. Kept the audience guessing every minute, and working up to a tremendous hand at the finish with the "Blue Danube." HEARST SELIG WEEKLY 18 minutes sheet in one. A exceptionally interesting series of views, including some timely pictures of target practice and scenes aboard the Atlantic Fleet. CUTS: Gertrude Hoffmann's New Revue - September Morn and the illuminated Mazda girl in the subway scene.
