B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE, CINCINNATI, OHIO. Week of May 3rd, 1914. John F. Royal. PREVOST & BROWN 11 min. F.S. Garden. Two men in comedy trampoline act. The comedian does some wonderful work on the bounding mat and gets some good laughs, although the comedy is the weakest part of the act. All their tricks are clever and for an opening act they went over big. OPEN RAYMOND & BAIN 15 min. in Two. Special. Man and woman in singing and talking act. Clever idea. Opened a bit tame, but worked up well and closed strong. Proved very entertaining throughout. OPEN TRANS-ATLANTIC TRIO 15 min. Open in One. Close Full Stage. Special. Two women and a man in banjo and singing act. The man is an exceptionally fine banjoist, but the soloist is only a fair singer. The full stage set is an effect one, and the singing of the old Southern songs got the act over in big shape here. OPEN "A TELEPHONE TANGLE" 16 min. 3 min. open in One. Close Full Stage. Special. Four women and three men, including Dorothy Regel, in a unique feature, showing the possibilities of comedy situations arising from crossed telephone wires. The idea is a novel one and proved a big hit. here. After the opening, Miss Regel does not have much to do, but she keeps everything working lively and has a personality which she gets over in good shape. Her individual work at the opening is very clever and altogether the act can be classed as a hit here. OPEN. MILLER & VINCENT 12 min. in One. Olio. Man and woman in straight singing act. One of the best acts of its kind here this season. The man has an excellent singing voice, and his rendition of "Answer, the famous ballad, brought him big applause. All their songs are new here and they proved especially pleasing. CHICAGO. FRANK SHERIDAN 30 min. F.S. Dark Libr. Three men and a woman in dramatic sketch "Blackmail". This sketch was played here before with another star, but Mr. Sheridan's portrayal of the mine owner was entirely different and he put the act over in fine shape. It was unfortunate for Mr. Sheridan that he is the last of a long series of dramatic acts seen here this season. People here have seen so many that they are about sick of them. Notwithstanding, Sheridan achieved a personal hit. OPEN. ELINORE & WILLIAMS 18 min. In One. Wood Drop Same act by the same people, with much of the same material and a little new. This act was a long time getting started, but when they did it went big. Not the hit of former visits. Miss Elinore was seen here a short time ago with Lew Fields, and this appearance took the edge off her work here. INDIANAPOLIS. TRAVILLA BROTHERS AND THEIR DIVING SEAL one of the best novelties of the season. It held everybody in and the act went over big for a closer. BUFFALO CINCINNATI IN MOTION Still interesting.
