REPORT on BOSTON SHOW for WEEK of MAY 24th - 1915. (R. G. Larsen) PATHE WEEKLY 15 minutes in one. Picture Sheet. About the usual assortment of pictures, without the cartoons. ARTHUR BARAT assisted by HELOISE BARAT 10 minutes f.s. Garden. Balancing with chairs and tables. A very clever act. Tricks are done by the man, with the woman filling in the picture. A good opener. KEIT and DeMONT 9 minutes in one. Street. These men open up with comedy talk, do a bit of tumbling, and some eccentric dancing. A neat little act of the kind with a touch of novelty. Went well in this position. FOUR ANTWERP GIRLS 17 minutes f.s. C.D.F. Violin, harp, cello and piano, with solos by one of the girls. Rather long drawn out and lacks life and ginger. Went fairly well in this position. BERT FITZGIBBONS 17 minutes in one. Street. Fizgibbons started the ball rolling. He has some new material, and woke things up in great shape. A hit. PAUL MORTON and NAOMI GLASS 18 minutes. Open Olio in one. Close F.S. Special Set. "Before and After." A very good act with some good comedy and eccentric dancing. A decided hit. MARION WEEKS 14 minutes in one. O.P. Drapery. This little woman scored a big hit. Her programme is good, and she has a pleasing personality. EDITH TALIAFERRO and CO in "A Breath of Old Virginia." 23 minutes f.s. A very pretty sketch, well played, with a charming love story. But the fact remains that Boston audiences do not seem to care for this sort of thing. Went well. DOYLE and DIXON 19 minutes in one. O.P. Drapery. These two men have some original songs and some great dancing. Work very quietly, and were hardly an ideal act to follow the Taliaferro sketch. Still, they went well in this hard spot. TOYO TROUPE 8 minutes f.s. Japanese foot jugglers. A good closing feature. CUTS: Bert Fitzgibbons - line about "when it was hot she was no Magnolia." Keit & Demont - "Hellican" - "Yes marm - you can't tell nowadays" gag.
