H. T. JORDAN PHILADELPHIA SHOW JUNE 14, 1915. HEARST SELIG PICTURES. 10 min. Just mildly interesting series of American subjects. DUPREE & DUPREE. 10 min. Man and woman in rather striking costumes do showy work on a unicycle. good routine and well handled. Made an excellent opener. HERMAN TIMBERG. 12 min. Two comedy songs, some very clever violin-playing and eccentric dancing for the finish make up his program and form a pleasing number for this position. He finished to a very good hand. HAL STEPHENS & CO. 22 min. Well known legitimate character actor who presents bits from Shylock, Rip Van Winkle and a Kentucky race-horse scene, making up for each character in view of the audience. He is a clever artist and gets good results. There was liberal applause at the finish. HOMES TRAVELETTE. 26 min. This is the third series of travel pictures. "The Cruise to Rio de Janeiro" was the subject and proved beautiful, very interesting and instructive and was much enjoyed. HYAMS & McINTYRE. 22 min. Presenting "The Quakeress" which was their vehicle last season. Several new songs have been introduced, two for Miss McIntyre's well known "kiddie" impersonations. Some snappy chatter is also used, also some clever dancing for a finish. A high-class act that was very well liked. LADY SEN MEI. 12 min. A Chinese girl who sings one number in native tongue and several others [???] popular American type. Wears three handsome costumes, the first one oriental. Made a very good single singing number and received solid applause. W. HORELIK ENSEMBLE. 11 min. A group of seven men and four women in probably the most novel and picturesque dancing act of this kind that vaudeville has ever had. They are dressed as gypsies and work in a scene representing a gypsy camp. Open with pantomime which is followed by some remarkable dancing of the Russian kind, a lot of it acrobatic. A big, good-looking dancing act which brought well deserved applause. DIAMOND & BRENNAN. 14 min. "Niftynonsense." Offering about the same singing, dancing and comedy talk that they used on previous visit. A good lively number of this kind which was well appreciated. Got fair amount of laughs. FOUR JANLEYS. 8 min. Three men who work in evening clothes, and a boy in a routine of familiar risley feats. A clever acrobatic number which did very well in the closing position, some ladder perch and a swinging trick giving them a big finish. GENERAL REMARKS. This is a very good show which got all that could be expected on the hottest day we have had this season. CUTS HYAMS & McINTYRE: Expression "Thank God." DIAMOND & BRENNAN: Expression "The woman thou gavest me"
