247 REPORT ON BOSTON SHOW for WEEK of JUNE 21st - 1915. (R. G.. Larsen) PATHE WEEKLY 17 minutes in one. Picture Sheet. Good series of news pictures and fashions. CYCLING BRUNETTES 9 minutes f.s. Garden. Conventional two-men bicycle act. Fast workers. Made a good opener. PRINCE LAI MON KIM 11 minutes in one. Olio Drop. This Chinese tenor made quite a hit. Has a good program. Could go further down on the bill. PIPIFAX and PANLO 8 minutes f.s. Special Drop. Foreign bump act with chairs and table. Dress as sailors, and the clown is rather funny. Good act of its kind. Went well. HARRY H. RICHARDS and BESSIE KYLE in "Fifty-Fifty." 13 minutes in one. Special Drop. Went fairly weak. RALPH DUNBAR'S NINE WHITE HUSSARS 16 minutes f.s. Special cyclorama. This singing band started the show going with a bang. Scored a decided hit. THE FARBER GIRLS 21 minutes in one. O.P..Drapery. Have all new songs and rolled up a big hit. DOUGLAS FAIRBANKS and CO in "A Regular Business Man". 18 minutes f.s. Office interior. Henry Woodruff played this sketch here a couple of years ago, but Mr. Fairbanks puts it over like new. Plays the act very fast, and has the audience going every minute. A very strong finish. ERNEST R. BALL 13 minutes in one. Olio Drop. Mr Ball went bigger as a single here than Lambert & Ball ever did in this house. Has some great songs, many of them new, and puts them over in great shape. Strong applause all through and an immense finish. BALZAR SISTERS.8 minutes f.s. Garden. Two good-looking girls with iron jaw work and Butterly dances in midair. An acceptable closer. CUTS: Douglas Fairbanks - "damned"; - Farber Girls - reference to Boston "American;" - Harry Richards - "Devil." COMMENT: A fast show, but a very short one. With nine acts the fire curtain came down twenty minutes early on Monday afternoon.
