REPORT on BOSTON SHOW for WEEK of JULY 26th - 1915. (R. G. Larsen) PATHE NEWS 16 minutes in one. Picture Sheet. Fairly interesting series of news events. THE SEEBACKS 13 minutes f.s. Special Set. Bag punching by man and woman, with a little singing. Good novelty. Opened well. DENMAN THOMPSON'S OLD HOMESTEAD DOUBLE QUARTETTE 13 minutes in one. Landscape. Scored heavily. JAMES B. DONOVAN and MARIE LEE 21 minutes in one. Olio. Doing the same line of stuff as on previous visits, and getting away with it in good shape. LADDIE CLIFF 13 minutes in one. Street Drop. The same songs he gave us on his last visit. Plenty of life and ginger, and went over very well indeed. BOWERS, WALTERS and CROCKER "The Three Rubes" 13 minutes f.s. Landscape. Short close in one. Street. Same old riot. MARIE SHAW 16 minutes in one. O. P. Drapery. Has a beautiful voice and a good programme. A decided hit. MILO? 16 minutes in one. Olio Drop. Notwithstanding that this man played the same act in every ten-cent house about the city last winter, he scored one of the hits of the show. His imitations went especially big. JOHN HYAMS and LEILA McINTYRE 23 minutes open in one. Special Drop. Close F.S. Landscape. The same act as on their last visit. Going as well as ever. DARE BROTHERS 9 minutes in one and one-half. Special Drops. A very good hand-balancing act, but rather quiet to close a show. CUTS: Donovan & Lee - Hell, Damn and Don't thank me Gag.
