REPORT on BOSTON SHOW for WEEK Of SEPTEMBER 20th 1915. (R. G. Larsen.) PATHE NEWS 8 minutes in one. Picture Sheet. GASTON PALMER 8 minutes in two. Palace Drop. Very clever juggler. Made an excellent opener. SOPHIE and HARVEY EVERETT 14 minutes in one. Street and O.P. Drapery. Perhaps the fact that their material is decidedly risque and suggestive at times did not work to their advantage. "CRANBERRIES" with FREDERICK KARR and CO 18 minutes f.s. Special Set. One of the prettiest little comedies we have played in some time. Could go further down on a bill, and make good. Went very well indeed. SAMMY WESTON and SIDNEY CLARE 11 minutes in one. Olio Drop. Two boys with some lively songs and dances. Went well. WILLIAM PRUETTE and CO in "A HOLLAND ROMANCE" 19 minutes f.s. Special Set. A one-act operetta with touches of comedy. The music is pretty, and the lyrics exceptionally well-turned for an act of this character. A decided hit. Mr Pruette's "I Want What I Want When I Want It" went over very big. KAUFFMAN BROTHERS 17 minutes in one. Street. They have been seen here so much that the audiences know the act almost as well as the Kauffmann's do themselves. Yet, they went over big. TAYLOR GRANVILLE, LAURA PIERPONT and CO in "THE YELLOW STREAK" 36 minutes f.s. Four scenes. Special Sets. It has been some time since we have played an act of this type. This one went over first-rate to-day at both performances. Has some good comedy, held the interest all through, and the fight in the last scene brought them a strong close. HERBERT WILLIAMS and HILDA WOLFRUS 20 minutes in one. Olio Drop. This team has improved wonderfully since they were here last season. Scored the comedy hit of the show. Closed strong. GAUTIER'S ANIMATED TOY SHOP 18 minutes f.s. Special Set. Dogs and ponies tricked out as mechanical toys in a toy shop setting. Have some good tricks, and a very novel act of its kind. Excellent closer.
