REPORT on PROVIDENCE SHOW, WEEK of SEPTEMBER 27, 1915. CHARLES LOVENBERG, Manager. The show played very well indeed, everything landed, and some acts were hits. The Clown Seal. This is a particularly good act. I think it is the best trained seal I ever saw. Plenty of comedy in the act which pleased in every particular. 15 Min. F. S. White & Clayton. Two men in an act of popular coon songs, and some particularly good eccentric dancing. First rate offering. 10 Mins. In One. Delmore & Lee Well known aeriel act which met with its usual success. 12 Mins. F. S. The Sharrocks Mind Readers. The comedy opening of this act gets the audience in good humor for the mind reading. this portion of the act also containing a little comedy that went very well indeed. 20 Mins. IN One. The Gilbert & Sullivan Revue. A very pretentious offering with 35 people presenting selections from the various operas of Gilbert & Sullivan. I don't think all has been done with the act that could be, but it gets over very well just the same. A good big flash, good chorus, and plenty of applause. 45 Mins. F. S. ---The Providence Journal this morning was enthusiastic in it's praise.--- Cantor & Lee. Two Men. One black face, the other white, in a "cracker-jack" comedy act that made the hit of the show. 17 Mins. In One. The California Orange Packers. A good novelty number with plenty of "go" to it that made a very good closing number. 13 Mins. F. S. Motion Pictures. O. K.
