BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I. REPORT OF SHOW MONDAY DECEMBER 13, 1915. MACK & SANGSTER: JUVENILE SINGERS, 9 MINUTES (1) TWO GIRLS. For youngsters they are quite clever and their program of songs was well received. GEORGE CASSIDY: COMEDIAN, 12 MINUTES (1) A fund of celtic wit keeps everyone laughing from start to finish. Some vocal renditions are quite well done and the offering is successful as a comedy turn. DAN BURKE & CO: DANCING NOVELTY, FULL STAGE, 19 MIN. SPECIAL SET. 5 PEOPLE. Good act, the dancing being clever, one instance of this by one of the ladies being one of the most beautiful and skillful interpretations of the art of Terpsichore that has ever graced the Bijou stage. Her dance is responsible for much of the success of the offering which is well put on and well enacted from beginning to end. [W. E. Parmenter?] Mgr. BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I. REPORT OF SHOW THURSDAY, DECEMBER, 16, 1915. ODONNE: ACCORDEONIST, 11 MINUTES (1) The idea of the electric bells in conjunction with the accordeon is a bit of novelty, but we have had it here before. His selections seemed to please a small portion of the audience, but judging from the reception as a whole it is quite evident that they have had sufficient of these gentry for some time to come. DRAWEE, FRISKO AND HAMBO: COMEDY JUGGLING, 15 MINUTES, full stage, special set. Recalling the Drawee of fifteen years ago, his exhibition today is a pitiable example of the ravages of time. A decade ago he was a juggler, but today he is only a memory. The remainder of the turn comprises comedy occasioned by a dog chasing the negro assistant all about the stage, which business obtained a few laughs. CRAWFORD & BRODERICK: SINGING, TALKING AND DANCING SKIT, 12 MINUTES (1) A very clever couple whose new and original material creates roars of laughter and they are unquestionably the finest man and woman duo seen here for a long time. The act is all success. [W. E. Parmenter?] Mgr.
