BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I. REPORT OF SHOW FOR THURSDAY, DECEMBER 30, 1915. LOUIS GRANAT: WHISTLING IMITATIONS, 13 MINUTES (1) Garbed in a costume depicting a parrot giving a touch of novelty, but as a whistler he is not equal to many in this line heard here from time to time. CARMELA & ROSE PONZELLA: VOCAL OFFERING, 14 MINUTES (1) Good act, offering an excellent program of selections in voices of fine calibre, and displaying a wealth of costumes of surpassing beauty. The entire affair was well received. RICE, ELMER AND TOM; BAR ACT, 6 MINUTES, FULL STAGE. Comedy is weak as a laugh-getter, but their 'straight' work which includes all the familiar stuff in acts of this kind is very well done. [W. E. Parmenter?] Mgr. BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I. REPORT OF SHOW MONDAY DEC. 27, 1915. JOS. N. TOGAN & ISABELLE GENEVA, WIRE ACT, 9 MINUTES, FULL STAGE. Very good act, their feats on the wire being the greatest exhibition of this kind ever presented here. Audience was attentive and pleased throughout as evidenced by the applause. ROBINSON & McSHAYNE: BLACKFACE SINGING AND TALKING COMEDIANS, 12 M. (1) Fair act some of the gags being rather old, and as vocalists they are not wonderful. Obtained a few laughs here and there. HUGHES' MUSICAL TRIO: INSTRUMENTALISTS, TWO MEN, ONE LADY, 15 MIN. FULL STAGE. Fairly good act receiving fair recognition by their selections on various instruments, the violin work especially being nicely executed and well-received. [W. E. Parmenter?]
