REPORT on KEITH'S BOSTON SHOW for WEEK of DECEMBER 27th, 1915 (R. G. Larsen) HEARST-SELIG NEW PICTORIAL 16 minutes in one Picture sheet Fair series of news pictures. MARLO and DUFFY 8 minutes f.s. Garden scene. A very good bar act with a sensational loop-the-loop stunt that made a great opener. Could close a show. BETTY BOND and JIMMY CARSON 13 minutes in two. Palace Drop. A fair singing and dancing act. Doing some of the songs they used here over a year ago. HOMER MILES and CO in "An Innocent Bystander" 22 minutes f s Special Set. An exceptionally good sketch with a novel plot and splendid stage setting. Was a hit. ELIZABETH MURRAY 19 minutes in one. O.P. Drapery. Scored a decided hit with her dialect songs and stories. WALTER BROWER 16 minutes in one Olio Drop Monologuist. Got over first-rate. "THE MARRIED LADIES' CLUB" 13 minutes f s Close in one. New gold interior and olio drop. Good singing act with five girls. BUD FISHER 19 minutes in two. Special Drop. Closes with picture sheet in one. Fisher's only new stunt is an animated moving picture cartoon of "Mutt and Jeff." His drawings are the same that he has presented here twice before. GUS VAN and JOE SCHENCK 16 minutes in one. Olio Drop. Have some new songs. Made their usual hit in this position. CHARLIE AHEARN and HIS CYCLING COMEDIANS 8 minutes f.s. Two special sets. It is too bad to close the show with this act, but it sent the audience out laughing at both performances. CUTS: Charlie Ahearn - woman in bed with man and cuspidor behind bed. Also shooting cannonball into audience.
