H. T. JORDAN PHILADELPHIA SHOW JAN. 10, 1916. SELIG TRIBUNE. 16 min. Very ordinary pictures. LUNETTE SISTERS. 8 min. The whirling Geisha girls in a routine of aerial work while hanging by the teeth. Furnished a showy opener. JOHN CUTTY. 16 min. One of the Six Musical Cuttys. Offers a straight musical act, playing several instruments and using classical and ragtime music. A novelty in the way of musical acts which went fairly well. HARRY GIRARD & CO. 32 min. "The Luck of a Totem." Act includes five men and a girl in addition to the principal. Unchanged from the last time shown here. The singing is the feature and it was very well received. LEIPZIG. 19 min. Has a very clever routine of sleight-of-hand tricks with coins and cards. He is a good showman and gets a lot out of his material, using men from the audience to handle his tricks on the stage. Act brought excellent results. SCOTT & KEANE. 15 min. This is another one of Miss Scott's writings and one of her very best. It forms an excellent little playlet which held closest attention from start to finish and was accorded enough applause to register it an emphatic success. CONLIN, STEELE & PARKS. 17 min. Formerly Conlin, Steele & Carr with a new man in the act. Songs, comedy, dancing and piano-playing form a mixture which put over a big laughing hit for this trio and they finished to a great hand. ALICE EIS & BERT FRENCH. 12 min. A very spectacular dancing act called "The Lure of the North" with a marvelous stage set representing a mountain of snow formed by soap bubbles. A distinct dancing novelty that registered an applause hit. BESSIE WYNN. 22 min. Proved as popular as ever with a series of five songs, three of which were new and sung in Miss Wynn's usual effective manner. Each number was applauded and she finished to a strong hand. TWO CARLTONS. 8 min. Two men in a comedy acrobatic turn. Work in pantomime. Have a routine of very good tricks, splendidly handled. For a quiet act, it did splendidly in the closing position. GENERAL REMARKS. A very showy bill with plenty of good music and a light comedy vein running through it from start to finish. Played out into an excellent show and pleased this audience immensely.
