REPORT on KEITH'S THEATRE BOSTON SHOW JAN 17th '16. (R. G. Larsen.) HEARST-VITAGRAPH NEW PICTORIAL 16 minutes in one. Picture sheet. Some very timely news pictures. BERTISCH 9 minutes f.s. Special Drop. Good, flashy, strong man act that made an excellent opener. JULE BERNARD and FLORENCE SCARTH 11 minutes in one. Special Drop. "The Tale of an Overcoat." A rather neat little sketch played by two good performers, but hardly strong enough for a big time bill. Just passed in this spot. One song. CONLIN, STEELE and PARKS 17 minutes in one. Garden Drop. Full of life and get a lot of laughs with their comedy. The piano playing by Conlin is a hit. Good, lively comedy act in one. PAUL MORTON and NANCI GLASS "Before and After." 20 minutes f.s. Open in one. Olio Drop. Close Special Set f.s. Second appearance here and a big hit. G. ALDO RANDEGGER 20 minutes in one. Olio Drop. A classic Italian piano player who would give the entire show if he was permitted to do so. The audience listened politely and gave him a hand on each of his numbers, but it was very evident that the greater majority of them were merely bored. When they come to Keith's they want vaudeville. HENRY LEWIS 24 minutes in one. Special Drop. Lewis was a bigger hit this trip than on his first appearance here. Has considerable new material, and went very big, indeed. ELSIE JANIS 23 minutes f.s. CDF. Very short close in one. Olio Drop Miss Janis was the biggest kind of a hit. We did not sell out at either performance Monday, but she drew two good houses and pleased the audience immensely. NATALIE and FERRARI 12 minutes f.s. Palace. Society dancers. Acceptable closer.
