BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I. REPORT OF SHOW FOR THURSDAY, FEBRUARY, 17, 1916. ALBERT. G. CUTLER: BILLIARDIST, 10 MINUTES, FULL STAGE. His exhibition proves him surely a master of the cue, and as a novelty his turn is one of the most interesting yet seen here. ROSE & MOON: SINGING AND DANCING SKIT, 10 MINUTES, OPEN ONE, CLOSE FULL STAGE. Singing is not noteworthy, but their dancing is particularly fine, one number being exceptionally original and clever in the extreme. Very well received. PATRICOLA & MYERS: SONG DANCE & COMEDY, (2) 18 MINUTES Comedy produces gales of laughter, and the eccentric dancing, in which the act abounds, is very funny and the laughs were continuous throughout. NOTE: Two dancing acts on a three-act bill does not make much variety, and ther was a very discernible note of 'sameness'. [W. E. Parmenter?] Mgr. BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I. REPORT OF SHOW MONDAY FEB. 21, 1916. LILLIAN GONNE & ROBERT LIVSEY: SONG AND DANCE SKIT, 10 MIN (1). A fair programme of songs, a very ordinary dance, and some whistling, evidently intended for comedy, make just a fair offering that received a bit of applause here and there throughout the house. THE THREE KELTONS: MUSICAL, 2 LADIES, 1 MAN, 15 MIN. C.D.F. A rip-roaring, roisterous bang-up of noise for a finish, with a few moments of melody in the earlier session, gave pleasure and received excellent applause. Our audiences yesterday evedently appreciated a volume of noise rather than the more agreeable strains of melody naturally looked for in a musical offering. HAWTHORNE & INGLIS, SONGS, DANCE AND COMEDY, 2 MEN, 17 MIN. (1). The same two 'nuts', with the same parcel of 'nutty' nonsense as when here before kept the laughs many and frequent, and success rewards their efforts on this, their second visitation within two years. [W. E. Parmenter?]
