REPORT ON KEITH'S BOSTON SHOW WEEK OF FEBRUARY 21, '16. R. G. Larsen VASCO, the MAD MUSICIAN 17 minutes fs. Special set. This man plays about every kind of an instrument ever invented. His attempts at comedy are very painful. Ten minutes would be plenty for this act. Just passed, and that's all. FOLEY and O'NEIL 17 minutes in one. Olio drop. A couple of Boston boys in songs and dances. They had a great many friends in the audience at both performances, which may account for the exceptionally manner in which they got over. RALPH DUNBAR'S FIVE MARYLAND SINGERS 16 minutes fs. Special set. Close in one. Special drop. Four girls and a man banjoist in a very pretty singing act, introducing the old-time Southern songs of the '60s. Beautifully staged, and while a bit quiet, went over very well indeed. JOE FIELDS and WILL HALLIDAY in "A Raw Recruit." 16 minutes in one. Special drop. A fairly good comedy act along the lines of Hawthorne and Burt, and similar burlesque soldier acts. Got quite a few laughs. LOYAL'S POODLES 12 minutes fs. Garden. A very fast and novel dog act. Went as well as on previous visits. BESSIE WYNN 16 minutes in one and fs. O.P. Drapery and Garden set. Mabel Berra sang two of Miss Wynn's best songs last week, and as a result Miss Wynn had to break in practically a new act, with the same songs as on her last visit. She just got over. HOMER B. MASON and MARGUERITE KEELER in "MARRIED" 34 minutes fs. Special set. This act was the hit of the show, both from the standpoint of laughs and applause. It was nothing short of a scream from start to finish at both shows Monday. It has been a very long time since any act got as many laughs in this house as "Married" did yesterday. RUBY NORTON and SAMMY LEE 13 minutes in one. Olio drop. Just about held a very hard spot. IDEAL 21 minutes fs. Special set. Opens with a motion picture of her swim through the Niagara river. The draw-off shows Ideal clad in red tights, and she introduces several fancy dives.
