H. T. JORDAN PHILADELPHIA SHOW MARCH 13, 1916. SELIG TRIBUNE PICTURES. 14 min. Fair assortment of pictures. THREE FLOODS. 16 min. Three men in a rough comedy acrobatic act. Do only a few tricks, depending on slapstick comedy to get them through. Did fairly well. SHERMAN & UTTRY. 17 min. Man and woman in a straight singing act with a dancing finish. Nicely dressed and both have fairly good voices. Finished well. GORDON & RICA. 15 min. Young man and girl in an act that includes a bit of singing, dancing and trick bicycle-riding. The fellow is a wonder on the wheel and injects some good comedy with his talk during the riding. Act went big. CHIEF CAUPOLICAN. 16 min. Indian orator and singer. The novelty of an Indian singing and delivering a semi-comedy talk makes this act very interesting. He has a very good voice, is highly educated and gets good results. Was liberally applauded. MARION MORGAN'S CLASSIC DANCERS. 17 min. This is another high-class dancing act with eight dancers. Their series includes Egyptian, Greek and Roman numbers, prettily staged and each number is preceded by a pose. Dancing is splendidly done and was well rewarded. HARRY TIGHE & SYLVIA JASON. 18 min. This is sort of a "nut" act along the same lines that Tighe did with Babette last season. Nearly all their material is new, including songs, dances and piano numbers. They kept the laughs going in good shape and finished to a very good hand. LILLIAN RUSSELL. 22 min. After singing five songs, two of them old favorites, she responded to a big round of applause with a very neat and well delivered impromptu speech which brought her an extra encore which also scored. Miss Russell was very well received, made her usual charming appearance and is still very popular. LYONS & YOSCO. 16 min. These boys were the same big applause hit as ever. They did five numbers, each one scoring solidly. Their act closed to a big hand. FRED J. ARDATH & CO. 22 min. A low comedy sketch played in a farmyard scene with chickens and pigs running about the stage and helping to furnish the comedy. Six persons are employed and their comedy consists mostly of slapstick stuff. Kept the audience laughing heartily and closed to a big hand. GENERAL REMARKS. As something out of the usual run, this is a singing show with a low comedy number at each end and class in the center, surrounding the headliner with a good bill. CUT HARRY TIGHE. Use of word "God" NOTE For the rest of the week Lyons & Yosco and Harry Tighe & Jason will change places.
