168 REPORT on KEITH'S BOSTON SHOW for WEEK of MAY 29th - 1916. R. C. Larsen. HON. FRANCIS P. BENT 16 minutes in one. Picture Sheet. Illustrated lecture on Mexico. Has some beautiful colored slides, and held the interest. HORACE WRIGHT and RENE DIETRICH 21 minutes in one. Garden Drop. A crackerjack singing act, which went over first-rate. Closed strong with their Hawaiian numbers. Could go further down. EMMET DEVOY and CO in "his Wife's Mother." 19 minutes fs. CDF. Second time here of this sketch, and going very well. HARRY CLARKE 14 minutes in one. Olio Drop. This young chap has some good material and puts it over well. Kept things moving right along. "THE LITTLE STRANGER" with PAUL DULLBELL 15 minutes fs. Special Set. This has not played her for so long that it was like new. Splendidly played, and a hit. GEORGE McKAY and OTTIE ARDINE 19 minutes open and close in one. Go to fs. Palace Set. The kind of an act that Boston likes. A hit. ALBERT WHELAN 22 minutes fs. CDF. it has been seven years since Mr. Whelan has appeared in Boston. He went over very strong at both performances Monday. JACK WILSON assisted by FRANK HURST and LILLIAN BOARDMAN 31 minutes in one. Street Drop. Wilson burlesqued about every act on the bill, and had them laughing every minute. ADELAID HERMANN 18 minutes fs. Special Set. Illusion act. The same act she gavce us on her last engagement, without a single new feature. Just a fair closer. Hardly up tot he standard of modern big time vaudeville. CUTS: Jack Wilson - "My God", thumbing noes, and reference to people leaving during his act. McKay and Ardine - "My God." Emmet Devoy - "God --- your mother!"
