BOSTON SHOW REPORT WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 4th, 1916. (R. G. Larsen) TWO TOM BOYS 9 minutes f.s. Wood Set. Two girls doing a fair bumsti-bumsti act. The principal feature is the novelty of two women doing this kind of work. Fair opener. HANS HANKE 16 min. in one. Olio Drop. This man arrived late Monday afternoon to replace an act that disappointed. Put on next-to-closing, he went over in good shape. In this position, Monday night he was a big hit. KATHERINE DANA'S "FISHER FOLK" in "Summer Visitors." 21 minutes f.s. Special Set. Ten people. Singing act with light comedy. This act has been going big in New England towns for several weeks and today went over first-rate. With a few changes should be a good feature. GEORGE AUSTIN MOORE and CORDELIA HAAGER 20 minutes in one. Olio Drop. songs and some stories by Mr. Moore. Went over first-rate. MORRIS CRONIN'S "MERRY MEN" 16 minutes f.s. Special Set. The act is now being handled by Mme. Cronin, who does not appear upon the stage until the final curtain, when she takes all the bows to the exclusion of the performers. The act is about the same as when Morris Cronin appeared in it and went over in good shape although not so snappy. COOK AND LORENZ 21 minutes in one and two. Street and Palace Drop. This act has been away so long it seemed almost new. Put over a big hit. EVA TAYLOR, LAWRENCE GRATTAN and Co. in "Rocking the Boat." 20 minutes in two. Special set. This is a revised version of one of Miss Taylor's former vehicles, with a ship scene and a new twist given to the story. A good comedy act that went over very strong. NAN HALPERIN 25 minutes in one. O. P. Drapery. Miss Halperin was the hit of the show. MARIA LO'S "PORCELAIN" 8 minutes f.s. Special Set. A beautiful series of living reproductions of Dresden China. Great closing feature.
