PHILADELPHIA B. F. KEITH'S SEPT. 3, 7 PATHE. 15 min. A good lot of pictures with some war scenes which drew big applause. NOLAN & NOLAN. 13 min. Comedy juggling act by a man and woman, the latter acting as a helper. Furnished a very good opener with a good routine of tricks well handled and enough comedy injected to liven it up. ERNIE & ERNIE. 13 min. Man and woman in a very good novelty. The acrobatics, high kicking and dancing by the one-legged man are really remarkable and got them big applause. The act has plenty of speed and action and finished very strong. HIRSCHOFF TROUPE OF GYPSIES. 8 min. A group of eight men and women doing a series of Russian dances of the usual acrobatic style. They work fast with the usual routine of legmania work and are dressed in picturesque costumes. Went fairly well. CHARLES KENNA. 16 min. "The Street Fakir." This is the first appearance of this comedian in this house in several years and was just as big a hit as ever. Kept the house laughing with a routine of snappy chatter and finished with a comedy song that brought him a big hand at the finish. "CRANBERRIES." 18 min. One of the best little farces of which vaudeville can boast, splendidly written and very well played by all three members of the cast. This sketch scored a big hit here last season and repeated it this time, closing to a big hand. MARUKO ONUKI. 12 min. This Japanese primadonna proved one of the big applause hits of the bill. Sang four numbers, two well known ballads and two classical, and at the close of each was given a tremendous hand, finishing strong. She possesses a voice of excellent quality and attired in Japanese costume makes an attractive stage picture. MARION MORGAN'S ART DANCERS. 26 min. A holiday audience that crowded the theatre to its capacity displayed profound interest in this artistic spectacle. It is undoubtedly the best of all classical dance productions, both from a spectacular standpoint and the unison of the dancers. The beautiful stage setting won a hand, there were frequent outbursts of applause during the act and it finished very strong. DONAHUE & STEWART. 17 min. In the next-to-closing position, this team was the comedy hit of the show, getting a lot of laughs and applause with the same routine of material they have used on previous visits. PALFREY, HALL & BROWN. 12 min. A good lively number which furnished an excellent closing act. Their comedy, bicycle tricks and some showy dancing by the woman furnished a varied offering with plenty of action that did very well in this spot. GENERAL REMARKS. A capacity holiday audience thoroughly enjoyed this bill which opens the new Fall season. With a lot of good comedy of different kinds surrounding the classical Morgan Dancers, the show hit a very satisfactory average. REPORT ON SHOW PLAYING THE SCENIC THEATRE PAWTUCKET R.I. SEPT. 3, 1917. John Stone Works in full stage 8 Min. Acrobat doing some fine work in barrel jumping. Went Good. Parise Duo Two men in one 12 Min. Muscial Offering Piano accordian and claranet. Classical and popular Went Good. James B. Donavan and Marie Lee. Work in one 22 Min. Singing and dancing and comedy stories by Mr. Donavan. Went Good. Six American Dancers Three women and three men in special plush in two 14 Min. A Very pretty dancing offering featuring the Dances of The Allies. Act is well custummed and is the best offering this act has ever done. Went Good.
