[line break]/////////////////////////// CONSTITUTION: STREAMLINED MODEL by Burton Crane My first published attempt to draft a workable constitution for the NFFF was cordially received, altho some wished the duties of officers more sharply defined. The draft below attempts to meet that and other criticisms. You will note that this draft leaves almost complete power in the hands of the President, provided that everything goes well. When the yoggoths strike, the Directors move in. Such an arrangement makes for work and progress, for the President is not hampered when he has a hard-working administration behind him. When the administration is at odds with him, the directors move promptly to effect a cure. ARTICLE I -- Name The name of this association shall be the Fantasy League. ARTICLE II -- Membership Membership shall be open, pending good conduct, to any person who sends $2 annual dues to the Secretary-Treasurer. Dues expire annually on January 1. ARTICLE III -- Elected Officers. Section 1: Officers elected annually and serving from February 1 shall be the President, Vice President, Secretary-Treasurer, Official Editor, and three Directors.
