SAPPHO - - the magazine of verse SOLAR PERPLEXUM The Sun rises cold and dim on the Planetarium's sky. Still you can see the stars as though mighty Sol were safe from the Earth's horizon. This unusual phenomenon is through the courtesy of Zeiss-Jena of Germany. But someday the real sun will be likewise cold and dim and unable to blind the stars by day. Then Man's bugles will sound a muted chant. And ice will be in the air and death on the land and we will not need Zeiss-Jena of Germany to dim the sun by day and the Planetarium will be a mockery of our impatience. Fywert Kinge 6
