This evening I ate, shaved, took a shower and now I'm all settled down for the night. Nice huh? This is my favorite time of day. Also had a letter from Dad today. He seems to be pretty busy around home. I can just picture the folks when the announcement came of the Jap surrender. Have the radio on and there is some swell music on. Sure helps the old spirits. All the other fellows in the tent went to town today. I didn't see much use in my going. I've never enjoyed myself in there yet. Darling, that job in Ill. really sounds swell. Just where the heck is that place and how big is it? Honey, just after I finished writing that
