Aug 20, 1945 My Dearest Evelyn, Here we go again darling and I'm as happy as I can be. What about, well I'll sure tell you. I'm sending two peices I cut from Dad's last letter and I'm sending them to you. They should pretty well answer as to how you stand with my family. Its enough to make anyone happy isn't it honey? They don't know too much about our plans so I wrote them & Ken both a long letter last night telling them what we had in mind. I told them that we might make an announcement and ask them what they thought. I also told them that we wanted to get married when I got home. I'm almost sure it will be ok with them. The think alot of you
