staying over here for awhile. It keeps me from going to the Pacific and I'll probably get discharged soon after reaching the States. Thats if we stay here a few months longer. Darling, it won't be too awful much longer and we can be so very happy when it does come. I guess we'll just have to be patient and hope for the best. Darling, what do you think we should do about the engagement? Do you want to announce it if it looks like I won't get home for awhile? I'll leave that up to you.
