Ken made it home for Xmas and New Year Eve, the lucky devil. I suppose you were out celebrating something awful. I was a far cry from doing much celebrating. The old year slipped out without my knowing it this year. I'd have given plenty to have been home for Xmas and seen all the kids. Seems like years since I've seen some of them and I guess it has been. I hope Santa Clause didn't forget you and I'm sure he didn't. So you finally got started to St. Louis? I'd like to change places once in awhile if I were you. You will be a graduate nurse first thing you know. I hope your time flies as fast as mine does over here. January nearly gone and I've hardly realized yet that it is 1945. The news is looking better again, but
