France Feb 13, 45 Dearest Evelyn, Honestly, it has been so darned long since I wrote you that I can't seem to remember where I left off. If things are a bit jumpy, just ignore it. I'm about two-thirds asleep right now as things turned out in such a way that I only got three hours sleep last night. I might say I got to bed about the time we came in from our midnight picnic way back when. The trouble is that it will probably be the same way tonight. It just turned dark and these nights are so darned long. I received six packages from home in one day. They would all come at once. I've been eating like a pig trying to get rid of it so I won't have to carry it around. I weighed myself and believe it or not I tip them at 180 lbs. Can you imagine (over)
