a butch hair cut and a dirty face then you have a pretty fair picture of what I look like. Ken sent me a knife and it is really a beauty. I sharpened it up till I could shave with it so I figured that was good enough. Evelyn, there really isn't much I can tell you. They will permit us to write some of our personal experiences, but I'm sure you wouldn't want to hear those. I owe everyone I know a letter I guess. Good gosh, but its hard to keep up. Tell Betty hello for me and tell her that lying out here waiting for Germans is alot different than midnight picnics. I never did hear what she thought of that deal. Evelyn, believe me, I hate to close, but my mind is a blank as far as writing goes. So bye for now and till next time. Love, Carroll
