[Letterhead] like to, but just can't. The army can be dam exacting at times. You'll go along with nothing to do for goodness knows how long, and then Bingo---you suddenly don't have enough hours to do all the things they expect of you. We have a very stiff inspection coming up, in the field, Saturday. In fact, that's about all we've had since we arrived at Gordon. One inspection after another. I'm beginning to think they're mad. Have received letters from Gram, W.W.W. Jr., and Fitzpatrick, which I managed to answer today. It sure gives me a swell feeling to get caught up on my correspondence.
