38 ALCHEMIST me of a visit Mr. Lovecraft paid him about four years ago. He told me he had never met such a fine man before. He described Lovecraft as a tall, thin, stoop-shouldered man with a marvelous personality and an extremely interesting conversationalist. He said that Mr. Lovecraft was accompanied by another man (in the publishing business) and a boy about 16 or 17 years of age. He commented on the fact that he had never met a boy his age with the intelligence and knowledge that this young man possessed. I wonder who this fan could have been? Oh, Yes! I was lucky enough to pick up a copy of "Wild Talents" by Charles Fort, last Saturday.
