FEBRUARY 22 1942. 79 in S.S. Took Juanita in as usual. Enjoy WHA in P.M. Wrote 3 letters. 1943. Took letters to box - but carrier didn't go. Did washing - hung 2 blankets white quilt, & sheet outside. Bees got on sheet. Worked on [Rationing?] board at school in P.M. & eve - Zillie is in Custodian. 1944. Rain in night & day, changing to snow in P.M. Finished Kathryn's pink blouse. Went to Guild with Mrs. Cornwell & Mrs. Pritchard. Frank in bed with sore throat. Wrote Hans, Emily 1945. Did ironing. It poured at 10:30, when I ha to go to airport. Got a ride with a lady, and at 5 one in the ATC motor pool. Slow work in the canteen. Olga Eaton & I even did a crossword puzzle. 1946. Slept fine again, arm less sore. Got up at 6, did some cleaning, drove over for tire. Mrs. Norberg took me to Hot Shoppe for a good dinner, then we took in the big parade from 2:30 to 3. She took me thru her office in City Hall. We took naps after we got home. Wrote danish letters Telegram from Josefhine Keeney.
