MARCH 2 1942. Washed, inc. 2 weeks for Hans & Sig. Typed Hans' expense acc't. Most of our panel met at Mrs. Gunnison in eve. but all have not met together. 1943. Up at 4 to keep pump from freezing. -14°. Up at 5 to get Frank's breakfast. He went with Joe Diedrich to Oscar Mayer's. I washed. At Woman's Club we voted $10 for Nurses' Scholarship Funds & $5 for Red Cross. 1944. Mrs Bell, Hazel, & Mrs. Schara helped with dishes till 1:30. Hans & I cleaned out N. attic & began packing things in it & small room. We went to Middleton: I got medicine for Frank - sulfa. Rita came on 5:50 bus. We got milk after supper. 1945. More showers! Drove to play practice at 10 AM at Mrs. Rathbone Smith's. Such a collection of ancient massive cawed furniture! Worked on speech in P.M. & gave it at WSCS Fidelity circle at Mrs. Fately's. 205 W. Alex. Ave. A very fine group of women. 37° 45° 1946. Washed some windows inside - then sold rest of cleaner! Laundered bedroom curtains, cleaned up house. Walked to Johnson's for ice cream & to Mrs. Barr's for sunsuits she did not finish. Josephine Keeney here for supper. Had esc. oysters, limas, etc.
