1942. Sunny P.M. Made warm flannel nightie, ironed sent Helen's pkg. Got 6 Christmas cards - one from Wayne + from Gordon Herwig in camp. Wrote Hilda + cards. 0° 1943. Sunny. Finished packing Maquo box + sent it. I wear Hilda's snowpants to get milk + go to mailbox. Frank home with stomach flu. Ironed + mended. Got 6 Christmas cards. Finished reader "The Shining Trail" by Iola Fuller. 1944. Ironed Hans' shirts. Had a little headache. Slept an hour. Wrote Christmas letter to MTT 1945. Mrs. Cody +I had a workout at airport Canteen 6-11. 5 flights keep us busy. 384 [mi?] Saw Richard Hickey there, off for [Chungking?] with Gen. Marshall. "Hello. Mrs. Skott" Wrote MTT. + more cards. 1946. Stayed in all day, working on scrap books.
