1948. We all went to church, 61 at S.S. I had charge of both adult classes. At Daniels’ an hour or so in P.M. Too slick to drive up hill to Ziegler’ when we get milk in eve. 1949. Water standing on ice. More drizzles. 1 bus came in after 10 o’clock, with my freshman girls. Review demonstrations begin. H.S. teachers mtg. till 4:30. 1950. Temp. fell more than 30º. Ironed. We took out Christmas tree. I walked to P.O. Worked on needlepoint. 1951. Walked downtown twice. Mended Frank’s clothes & sent to him at Rockford. Haus home at 4 from Eau Claire. A letter each evening is all I get written. Supper mtg. Tonight here of kitchen planning mtg. postponed. 1951. Kathryn home all day—sewing. I made 19 button holes on machine. Snowed all PM, 3 1/2 inches. K, I, Peggy, Dolores, shoveled. To Doris Buehler’s who taught me a new method of needlepoint.
