January 9

1948. Did my shopping in AM. Finished crocheted blue + rust cotton rug for bathroom.

1949. Drove to church-first Utter grandchild baptized. Signe out-cut out her rose rayon serge dress. Predicted blizzard must have got lost crossing Iowa. I drove to Muscoda after 4. A little colder. Pulled off gold crown from tooth.

37° 1950. Baked graham raisin bread, washed-hung white outside. Walked to P.o, etc. Needlepoint. Lois + John Shafer here a while. Not up till 6:40-but got Hans off on 7:10! Forgot to set alarm.

1951. Ironed. Not so cold. K + I drove to Madison in P.M. I bought navy blue for "best" dress. Read in "Sense of Humus"

1952. Ironed, inc. 6 shirts. Went with Hans soon after 1, then I drove to Merger's, took her book, sold her 2 dresses. Called on Dr. Jennie Turner. 2 errands at [Heelbuik's?] in eve, sold dress.
